BACA Barbados and the Barbados Association of Palliative Care (BAPC) have entered into an agreement as of January 1, 2024, whereby BACA Barbados will provide support, including equipment and supplies, to BAPC to elevate its home palliative care program and provide Home Hospice care as resources permit. This is at least an interim measure until the standalone hospice is operational. It is of course an option that should be ongoing, as part of the hospice and palliative care offerings in Barbados.
