MISSION
The Barbados Association for Cancer Advocacy (BACA Barbados) is a community-based voluntary organization established on June 24, 2011, and registered as Barbados Charity No. 875. Its mission is to minimize the impact of cancer on the Barbadian community by:
- Promoting early detection and prompt treatment of cancer in Barbados
- Fostering risk-reducing lifestyle changes across the population
- Collaborating with government departments and relevant NGOs to strengthen national cancer control efforts
